Today we are going to share some tips for easy Tailgating (or Football viewing party at home), FREE printable decor and a delicious recipe for our Cheesy Ranch Bacon Dip!
Hey! Hey! As everyone knows by now, we are HUGE fans of football around here! Football fashion, football activities to keep your little ones interested, and our favorite thing- football food! So while we may not cheer for the same teams, we DO agree on delicious food!
As important as the games outcome, are your football appetizer and snack picks. They don’t have to be complicated foods- just go with the tried and true classics everyone will love. Use our FREE printable decor to put together a Pinterest worthy party EVERYONE will enjoy!
First you will want to stop by Walmart and grab their deal on wings in the hot deli, a staple of every tailgating party, they are offering a bucket of 20 wings for only $10! You can get several different flavors.
Next pick up veggies, pretzel sticks, pita chips and the ingredients for the Cheesy Ranch Bacon Dip. I like to pickup a tray of fruit as well. Just so I feel better about all the cheese and bacon goodness. 😉
Cheesy Ranch Bacon Dip:
- 3/4 cup Bacon, cooked & chopped
- 1/4 cup Ranch dressing, creamy
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese
- 2 (8oz.) packages Cream cheese
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Place all ingredients in a large bowl, stir together until thoroughly combined. Spoon mixture into a 1½-quart baking dish.
3. Bake until the dip is bubbling and starting to brown on top, 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with chips, pita slices, veggies and of course- WINGS!
*Party Tip: This dip is the best warm- so keeping the large batch in the oven on warm and only serving smaller amounts at a time helps keep it at it’s most delicious!
Now that you’ve got the food covered you just need some decor. To make things really easy, use our FREE printable banner, food labels and straw flags! We kept these team neutral so that you can use them for your college and pro Football parties. Stringing the banner up between two dowels makes it easy to use indoors or out!
String the banner up on a string, yarn or twine. You can pick up two dowels in the craft section of your local Walmart and you are ready to rock your next football party! Mission: Tailgating like a boss complete!
Do you have any great tips on throwing a game day or tailgating party? We’d love to hear them!
