Living Room Decor & How I designed on a dime.
Hello Beauties and Welcome Back!! Today I am super excited to share with you all how and where I got all my Living Room Decor from. Buying a home has always been a dream of mine and I had SO much fun shopping and seeing my design vision come to life room by room.
First off, going from an 800SQFT Condo to furnishing an entire home can get very expensive very quickly, so I tried to really cut where I could cut to keep on budget. The one thing I didn’t really cut corners with was my furniture, I wanted furniture that would really last so that’s where we did spend the money but I hit the JACKPOT at Home Goods for the majority of my Decor. So without anymore waiting, come with me on a tour of my Living Room!!
I wanted to create a space that was warm and inviting but also had a chic and sophisticated element to it. I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out! I would have to say this is my favorite room in my house. I am a big fan of mixing gold and silver together, I think it’s just beautiful so I tried to mix it up a bit. My favorite piece in the room is definitely the Credenza that I got from RC Willey.
I got these Mint & Ivory Chevron chairs from Target for only $84 a piece! I would definitely recommend Target for sitting chairs because at every furniture store I went to they were all over $250 and went to $500 PER CHAIR……NOPE!!! The gold nesting tables I got from a friend of mine, they were originally black so I spray painted them gold. I am happy with the way they turned out and how easy it was to achieve. I also painted the mirror as it was originally a dark brown metal. Sometimes when designing you can quickly transform your own items by a little can of spray paint. The white rug was a Home Goods find for only $75 and my sofa was a managers special from Ashley Furniture for more than half off.
I have a smaller kitchen in my home so I wanted to create a nice bar cocktail station as I am a lover of delicious wine and the occasional cocktail. I got almost all of these items you see for decor at Home Goods
Living Room Decor on a budget.
I got my gold mirrored tray, champagne glasses, gold and silver marble coasters, frames, vase & flowers and the lamps all from Home Goods. It was really my one stop shop for almost all of my decor! I LOVE HOME GOODS!!
The cocktail glasses were a great find at Crate & Barrel and I loved how they went so perfectly with my Champagne glasses. For decor purposes I only displayed 4 of the 6 champagne glasses and 2 of the 6 cocktail glasses just to bring in the pop of metallic gold and to define the space as a cocktail area.
All of these Roses are straight from my backyard! Aren’t they stunning??
