New Years Makeup Tutorial | Bobbi Brown Sequin Shadow

Happy New Year!!!

Today it’s all about SEQUINS and how I am going to use Bobbi Brown’s newest formula of Eye Shadow to create a Fun, Pretty, Bold, Colorful New Years Makeup Look. I feel like Sequins is always apart of New Years whether it’s in our clothing, shoes, confetti and in today’s case, EYE SHADOW!

I was inspired to create this look from a Christmas Gift I was given by one of my best friends which was a beautiful Plaid Infinity Scarf from Nordstrom and a pair of Ivy Suede pumps from Madewell. I am pairing these with a pair of Dark Denim and a DKNY Leather Jacket for my New Year Eve outfit. I have never had Green shoes before and I’m obsessed! You also can never go wrong with an infinity scarf especially in the Winter.

For a Full list of products used in todays video look in the video’s description box, but I want to talk about the STAR * Or in this case SEQUIN * of this New Years Makeup Look. BOBBI BROWN COMET SEQUIN EYE SHADOW.

New Years Makeup

In this look I started with a nice warm transition Shade called Toast up into the crease. I then used the Comet Sequin shadow DRY with a blending crease brush to create more depth.

For these awesome Shadows you get the most intensity when they are foiled, meaning that they are used wet. I wet my Eye Shadow brush with the Smashbox Priming Water for a longer lasting effect. Make sure to watch the tutorial to see how this amazing Sequin shadow transforms.

Comet Sequin Eye Shadow - Infused with flecks of metallic shimmer, this highly-pigmented shadow mimics star-filled skies for a dramatic, high-shimmer eye. Compact includes a mirror and embroidered case.

HERE’S HOW IT’S DIFFERENT:

The baked, densely pigmented, pearl-infused formula provides a lightweight velvety texture that applies easily and seamlessly. Can be worn alone or layered to create a multidimensional effect. Silky shadows go on smoothly with no creasing, flaking or fading.

To create the look for my hair today I used the NuMe 25mm Curling Wand

We wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope that you enjoyed this fun New Years Eve Makeup Tutorial. If you recreate this look or create any other awesome New Year’s Ever Makeup Looks we would love to see them!! As always we love to do requests so let us know what you are dying to try.

XOXO

That eyeshadow color is beautiful! I haven’t used many bobbi brown products but I’ve liked the few items I’ve own.
