Yep, I can’t get that song out of my head so now it’s stuck in yours 😉 You’re welcome!
Easy Ways To Look Pulled Together
So here we are at Monday and we are looking at rocking a very fabulous week right?!
All of us busy ladies know that sometimes you just don’t have enough time (or energy) to get ready. Especially us mommas. I used to think it was an exaggeration but I literally have to determine the length of my shower and how much toddler destruction I can handle. Coming off of a sleepless night and to say I want to stay in pajamas all day is NO JOKE.
Acknowledging we are all busy, we have listed a few SIMPLE tips and some affordable fashion ideas to get you pulled together in no time!
1. Perfect an Easy Hair Do (or 2)
Who seriously has time to re-do their hair every day? Ain’t nobody got time for that! Plus it’s awful for your hair to wash it and heat style every day. So give your hair a much-needed break and perfect a few half braids, a top knot, make your beach waves last longer, etc.
There are so many great tutorials out there with style options- hello Pinterest! Follow our board for hair inspiration if you need it!
My go-to hairstyles right now are these 3. I also add in a little side braid because it helps keep my bangs in place. Make that braid fat!
2. Get Your 5-Minute Makeup Game Down!
If I can do it while holding a wiggling toddler, anyone can do it! For those days you don’t even have 5 minutes, decide what 3 things make you feel pulled together the most. I am a mascara, foundation or tinted moisturizer and bronzer girl. If I have those I can do anything. 😉 We have a “tutorial” for your 5-Minute Makeup here.
3. Versatile Fashion
Quality over quantity is truly the key to looking pulled together easily with no time. Take the time to figure out what you feel best in. Don’t try to force yourself into a style that you don’t feel comfortable in.
These are just a few of my favorites! They are really easy on the budget, comfortable, no hassle, flattering, and fun! They have lots of options available.
Accessories!
Adding any type of accessory from a statement necklace to a button front top can bring the whole outfit together. you can have one or two pieces that you turn too and it takes the whole guessing game out of what to wear when walking out the door.
Speaking of accessories, The rule of 3, Deynece talked about it here, really helps pull together any look; whether wearing a dress, workout gear or pajamas! A jacket, a dress, and some jewelry or a watch bring it all together.
Shoes
I don’t know if you follow the FlyLady but she has the BEST advice for keeping a tidy home and having a pleasant life. She’s not going to tell you to make Pinterest perfect everything but she does say to wake up every morning and get dressed to your shoes.
I say if you’re going to get dressed to your shoes might as well make them cute!
I have been rocking these gray gladiator sandals and a pair of double strap ones EVERY DAY. It definitely makes you feel more pulled together when you’ve got cute shoes on. Like a bow on a package! I have even been wearing a pair of kitten heels to add a little something less “mom bun”. Haha!
Bonus
Wear perfume! It takes 2 seconds. You will feel better… and smell better too 😉
What are your time-saving tips for looking pulled together?

Such great tips! Getting down a 5 minute makeup look is a must-do!
I love how classic, ladylike, and clean all these looks are. I’m always needing tips to look pulled together and these are perfect!
Great pointers! Just adding that one accessory could really dress up and complete an outfit. I need to work on hairstyles though. My everyday bun is getting on my nerves 🙂
I like the idea of dressing to your shoes. I need to do a closet purge and get some new basics and then use these tips. I love that little trick to make a fuller ponytail.. I always forget about it but will do it this week now :]
I love simple looks on days I’m not trying to do much to it.
Thank you!! With an 18 month old I need these tips lol.
I love this! Accessories really can change the look of an outfit!
Great tips! I have my makeup routine down to 5 minutes, but when it comes time to figure out what to wear… that’s a different story. Love those hairstyles!
I am the same way! So I am overhauling my whole wardrobe this week! No more wondering what to wear is my goal!

I love that pony tail trick, I’m going to have to try that. I can completely relate to speed showering because of the amount of toddler destruction going on too!
Haha! It’s seriously such a challenge! Cute little tornados 🙂 These little tips make such a difference and the easy, no fuss clothes are perfect!
