Winter Skin Care Routine | Dry Skin

WINTER SKIN CARE ROUTINE is what it’s all about today! I ( Deynece) am on between 4-8 flights a months and I need to make sure I get enough hydration.

This is just my current daily skin care routine * Not including masks, night time products, cleaning tools etc*

My Favorite Cleansers

Soothing Cleansing Oil…aka lazy girl cleanser, because its a 2 in 1 makeup remover and doesn’t leave the skin feeling dry. With this and most other cleansing oils you apply it dry face, dry hands and massage it into the skin. You then follow with water and it breaks it down and rinses off.

Lathering Tube Soap…my shower cleanser because I love to super lathery sudsy feel in the morning. ( even though this is really a cleanser for more combination skin but I just love the smell!

Balm Rinse…SUPER hydrating, warming to the skin, smells like heaven and oranges and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and plump. * I forgot to talk about this in the video but I highly recommend giving it a try if you have dry skin. It has glycerin in it to help bind moisture to the skin and is by far one of my favorite skincare favorites!

My Favorite Face & Eye Cream

Hydrating Eye Cream…water based, very hydrating but not heavy and I love that it has great skin care benefits in it to help puffiness and dark circles.

Hydrating Face Cream…water based, again very hydrating and not heavy but makes my makeup glide on so smooth. I have been using this face cream for almost 9 years! Of course I dabble with others and have others that I will sometimes use, but this is my RIDE OR DIE skin care Moisturizer!

My Other Skin Care Favorites

Extra Treatment Lotion... the first step after cleansing and for me in place of a toner. This product adds a LOT of moisture to the skin and will not only instantly hydrate but increase hydration levels to the skin as a long term treatment. It has glycerin to bind moisture and stimulates collagen. ALWAYS A PLUS+++

My Skins multi vitamin… Intensive Skin Supplement. Okay guys this product is a game changer! it literally helps with EVERYTHING! Enough said, just trust me and go get a sample to try!! But remember in my video I talk about how with serums you really need to give it at LEAST 30 days so really start seeing big difference on the skin.

Firm Peeling Gel.. uses Multi Action Enzymes to visibly rolls, lift and sweeps away dead skin cells when massaged onto skin. This is a product I use about twice a week especially in the winter when my skins extra dry and I live in a bad air city so Its important to exfoliate that surface layer of skin that just absorbs all the free radicals from the air.

Extra Face Oil…absorbs easily to immediately moisturize, soften, and condition skin. Its blend of oils, including sesame, sweet almond, olive, and jojoba. Vitamin E protects skin from environmental damage, especially with continued use, and its blend of natural essential oils provides the soothing scent of neroli, patchouli, lavender, and sandalwood. I mix this with my foundation in the winter! Stay tuned for this weekends post all about finding your perfect foundation!

Lip Balm… bring out your lips natural color with a Peony Extract and repairs the lip barrier to keep you from getting chapped.

SPF 50 Face Base... I love this because it does NOT go on white! Smells great and doesn’t have a greasy feel to it. Ladies this also makes a great mens face cream

This sums it up for today but make sure to head to the YouTube Channel and let us know what your favorite products are and if you would like to see a Night time skin care routine going over Face Masks, Cleaning tools etc. in the comments section!

  • Thanks for all the great recommendations! Dry skin is always a struggle for me in the winter so I’m always on the hunt for some great products. Also, I tried to look at the balm rinse link but it took me instead to the lathering tube soap. Just a heads up :)

  • I’d never heard that “give it 30 days” thing about skin cream maybe that’s been my problem! Very enlightening I know nothing about skin care but I’m trying to begin into it!

  • I’ve tried so many products over the years, and I found something that’s been working for me rather well (I think!). It’s cheaper than department store brands, which I also bought and tried. L’Oreal Revitalift Complete! At 55, I am super disciplined about my skin care, lol!

  • I’ve never used any of these products that you use. I’ve always wanted to use a face oil but I’m afraid that it will leave me oily. I love doing face masks to help hydrate my skin in the winter. I’ll have to look into some of these products you use. Thanks for sharing!

  • I’ve been curious about cleansing oils, but haven’t tried them yet. I hear they’re amazing!

    • They are AMAZING! Think of it as water repels oil. But oil attracts oil- gets through the phospholipid bi-layer so it gets it all out. Beautiful chemistry! ?

  • Yay! You’ve introduced me to a few new products I need to try. Nothing is worse than dry skin so I’m all about doing my part to add moisture back in. Thanks!

  • Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.

The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Firefox.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.
The design look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Thanks

  • Heya fantastic blog! Does running a blog similar
to this take a large amount of work? I’ve virtually no expertise in coding but I was hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyhow,
if you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off topic however I simply wanted to ask.

    Thank you!
