Brows By Color

Hey there beauties! Today we are talking a bit more about brows! Specifically hair color and brows…

If you missed our in-depth post and Deynece’s FABULOUS video tutorial make sure to watch it first!

Color Selection For Eyebrows

Now that you’ve had that refresher, let’s talk about color selection for eyebrows.

Usually, your eyebrows are not the same color as the hair on your head. This occurs both naturally and not. Most often, the eyebrow hair is a little ashy, which means that a gray-brown rather than a red-brown will look much more natural on most people (gingers excluded).

Brows By Color

With multiple options out there we thought we would create a quick list of favorite products by hair color:

A) REDHEAD For redheads who have light red hair and red eyebrow hair try: Anastasia Caramel Duo
For redheads who have dark red hair and brown eyebrows try: MAC shadow in Espresso or Milani Stay Put Brow Color in Soft Brown.

B) BLONDE. For blondes who would like a subtle natural looking brow go with: Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil in Wheat, Milani Stay Put Brow Color in Natural Taupe, or KEVYN AUCOIN Precision Brow Pencil in Ash Blonde.

For blondes who want a bold brow try: Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil in Taupe or Blonde, or MAC Eye Shadow in Charcoal Brown

C) BRUNETTE. Depending on the hue in your brows you will want to go warmer or cooler. For brunettes who prefer a soft natural looking brow with a warmer brow go with: Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil in Mahagony or MAC Eye Shadow in Brun

For brunettes who would like a bold brow try: Bare Minerals Essential Brow Color in Brunette or Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil in Espresso.

So there you have it, brows by color! We hope this helped guide you on your brow game journey!

Brow Tutorial

WELCOME BACK BELLA’S

Today I wanted to share with you all some Do’s & Don’t about filling in your brow.  I am a HUGE brow fan but there are a lot of crazy brows out there right now so come with me and lets talk about all the options that we have for filling in our brows based on the type of brow we have and the style of brow we want.

WATCH MY FULL IN DEPTH Brow Tutorial-

Okay now that we are all on the same page with brows the things to remember…..

1.Do NOT fill in your brows to the point that you cannot see you skin through your eyebrow, it doesn’t look natural.

2. Remember to square off the front of the brow to avoid having the , Comma or tadpole brow!  🙂 And remember brows are sisters, not twins so don’t go crazy making sure they are EXACTLY the same.

3. You have OPTIONS!!

*Brow Shaper or Brow Groomer looks like the little mini mascara and is great for me on my day off when I want something super fast and simple thats great on the go. This is also great for someone who is blessed with a full brow but just needs to tame down the stubborn hairs.

Brow shapers come in clear as well as colored so you can choose to add color or just to shape and tame the brows.

* Brow Pencil is great for the person who likes a more defined, structured, long wearing brow. I use the Perfectly Defined Long Wear Brow Pencil from Bobbi Brown in Mahogany. This pencil is also amazing for those who have no brow hair at all and are needing to actually create a brow or for those who have tattooed brows that may have turned a navy/reddish color and you need to cover.

*Brow Gel & Brow Powders are wonderful for a very natural, soft looking brow. They are great if you have a relatively full brow and are just needing to create more shape and to fill in little bald spots. When I use powder I use the Bobbi Brown Brow Kit in Saddle/Mahogany with the Brow brush and for Gel I am using the NEW Long Wear Brow Gel with the dual ended Brow Definer and Groomer Brush.
